Myung Yu was born in Jeon Ju, Jeon Book, South Korea. She was a nutritionist for many years in Korea where she practiced acupuncture, Korean hand needle technique, and Korean meditation for over 10 years. She also studied ministry counseling in Korean for two years and then went on to receive a degree in Acupuncture from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Long Island, NY. Myung has successfully treated hundreds of patients in New York and New Jersey for infertility, pain management, headaches, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and sports injury. She is excited to join Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine with our excellent multidisciplinary team to continue to help patients get out of pain. Myung is positive, kind, and motivated to help guide you through any medical attentions. In her spare time, Myung loves traveling with her family & enjoys reading books.
